Autism Assessment and Diagnostics
At London Speech Therapy, we provide diagnostic assessment of autism in children and adults, as a Specialist Multi Disciplinary Team. We follow best practice guidelines and use “gold standard” assessment tools, including the ADOS-2, ADI-R and DISCO. Our assessments are completed by our team of Specialist Clinical Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists, who have extensive experience in the assessment and support of autistic children and adults.
Assessments are comprehensive, and will involve an initial screening meeting to determine the need to proceed to the diagnostic assessment clinic. Assessments can take place at either of our London clinics and may involve an additional nursery or school observation of your child.
